Pest Control

Please note that the Co-op is legally obliged to treat only the following pests within the dwellings that it manages:

·     Category 1 pests:

a.    Pharaoh Ants

b.    Mice

c.    Cockroaches

d.    Rats

e.    Wasps

The Co-op will not treat the following (and has adopted the policy of the London Borough of Brent on this category of pests):

·     Moths

·     Woodlice

·     Garden Ants,

·     Bed Bugs

The Co-op will only arrange for treatment if the occupier is willing to pay for this service.

In treating Category 1 pests, two separate treatments, two weeks apart will occur. In some cases, the resident may have to evacuate the dwelling for up to 3 hours.
